Electrical & Instrumentation Technician – Battle Creek, MI (2101057)
We are seeking a I/E Technician to work in Battle Creek, MI manufacturing site.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting site instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment in order to provide a safe operation with maximum production availability.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your skills, you will troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical or instrumentation components in addition to performing preventative maintenance procedures and repairs to minimize equipment down time. Successfully utilize blueprints, schematics, manufacturer specifications and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Your sense of urgency and responsiveness will be essential as you provide support for 24-hour coverage of the facility, alongside the rest of the team.
With your solid commitment to safety, your will support and adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® by protecting the environment, health, safety and security, comply with ISO9001 and ISO14001 system, and follow site policies and procedures.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For In You…
High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Instrumentation, Electronics or within an electrical field OR an associate degree or Journeyman’s Card with 2 years of experience in Instrumentation, Electronics or within an electrical field.
Experienced in the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of one or more of the following: electrical devices, electrical supplies, field instrumentation, control valves, process analyzers, process control systems.
Ability to read and update electrical and instrument documents such as schematics, specifications, control diagrams, P&IDs, and one-line diagrams.
Good working knowledge of manufacturing plant equipment and technologies.
