Where the Chemistry Happens

To conduct product and systems development and applied research in the development and commercialization of new products/systems, product maintenance/improvement, and value analysis in the assigned DPA (Dynamic Product Area) in an effective manner, aiming at achieving the objective agreed upon.

Formula for Success

  • Initiate and execute the development of new and improved products.

  • Implement product scale-up from laboratory to production.

  • Establish product performance and quality control specifications

  • Acquire working knowledge of business system software (e.g. SAP ).

  • Supervise production and testing of pilot batches at manufacturing facilities.

  • Acquire knowledge of industry-related practices, design and/or specifications through participation in: (a) Technical seminars and/or societies, (b) Field sales support, and (c) Product field applications

  • Lead routine development projects within a primary technology with no supervision.

  • Develop and communicate technical information, within and outside of R&D, through presentations and scientific reports. Excellent communication is required.

  • Acquire knowledge, mechanistic understanding, and structure-property relationships of multiple product technologies.
