What you can expect

As part of setting up our new team Compensation & Benefits Services we are looking for several new colleagues. In this position, you will provide services on insurable employee benefits on a daily basis for the BASF group companies in Germany and abroad on all topics related to company social benefits.

  • In this context, you will support the optimization of insurance coverage through the management of our selected insurance partners and our international insurance pools.

  • You will also support local country HR organization on local insurance provider selection and designing the insurance coverage up to the BASF governance framework.

  • Moreover, you will take part in managing worldwide tendering and ongoing monitoring of insurance contracts.

  • Finally, you will contribute to restructuring projects to adapt social benefits with cross-organizational teams.

What we expect

  • degree in business administration, mathematics or similar relevant field

  • working experience in the compensation and benefits field especially insurance benefits

  • good negotiation skills especially regarding vendor management and contract management

  • strong analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data management and presentation

  • ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders in English and desirably in German or another EMEA languages as well

  • committed team player, who sets demanding goals on their own responsibility and meets challenges with an open mind.
