What you can expect

As part of setting up our new team Compensation & Benefits Services we are looking for several new colleagues. In this position, you provide services on insurable employee benefits for the BASF group companies in Germany and abroad on all topics related to company social benefits.

  • In this context, you are the first contact person for our local country HR organization on local insurance provider selection.

  • You optimize the insurance coverage through the management of our selected insurance partners and pools and design the insurance coverage up to the BASF governance framework.

  • Moreover, you take part in managing worldwide tendering and ongoing monitoring of insurance contracts.

  • You contribute to restructuring projects to adapt social benefits with cross-organizational teams.

  • Your area of responsibility is completed by the support in compensation processes, like merit increases, bonus payouts and benchmarking.

What we expect

  • degree in business administration, mathematics or similar relevant field

  • working experience in the compensation and benefits field, ideally in insurable benefits

  • good negotiation skills especially regarding vendor management and contract management

  • strong analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data management and presentation

  • ability to communicate complex issues effectively to diverse stakeholders in English and desirably in German or another EMEA languages as well

  • committed team player, who sets demanding goals on their own responsibility and meets challenges with an open mind
