What you can expect
As part of setting up our new team Compensation & Benefits Services we are looking for several new colleagues. Within our team you will be managing BASF's compensation services in close cooperation with our insurance departments on a local and global level.
You will always keep an eye on our remuneration processes, tools and programs and continuously develop them further.
Also, you will work on a wide range of projects at regional and global level, contributing to process optimization, standardization, data quality and digitalization, as well as to the operational and content-related support of Compensation & Benefits processes.
You will compare salary systems and incentive programs, identify critical points, and develop integration guidelines for the remuneration and interim bonus systems.
In your diverse and communicative role, you will form an important interface between internal and external stakeholders.
You will also contribute to the cross-regional Compensation Service Circle and use your internal and external network to exchange views on compensation topics to identify emerging compensation and benefits trends at an early stage.
What we expect
degree in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
several years of working experience in the field of compensation and benefits
experience in managing compensation and M&A projects
knowledge of full cycle for job evaluation, pay band creation, salary merit increase and bonus schemes
strong analytical skills and, at best, experience with quantitative data management and presentation
great communication skills in English and desirably in German or another EMEA languages as well such as French, Spanish, Turkish or Dutch
Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
