What you can expect

As Junior Controller SAP Business Warehouse, you become part of our expert team. This team is in charge of the main global BASF SAP BW applications for business steering and cost information.

  • In this role, you are the interface between the Global Application Owner and the system users. Moreover, you act as well as a contact for Controlling, Finance and IT units.

  • In close cooperation with the Global Application Owner, the IT units and the user community, you develop the application further and ensure the data quality.

  • You will prepare test plans, conduct tests, and assist end users in performing the acceptance test.

  • You are responsible for the activities relevant in regard of month-end-closing, to ensure an on-time data availability in a high quality.

  • You create and provide training services, support the effective usage of the application for end users, and thus facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the IT and controlling units.

  • You create required reports for the operating departments and regions and answer ad-hoc requests for reports and analyzes.

  • In projects you take over ownership for specific tasks and actively participate in the investigation and implementation of trend-setting reporting features.

What we expect

  • You have successfully completed your studies related to economics or IT or you have a comparable vocational education.

  • You have first professional experience in the areas of Controlling and / or Finance.

  • Furthermore, first knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP BW would be preferably.

  • In our intercultural teams, you convince with your very good English and ideally have good German language skills.

  • Personally, you are characterized by your high customer orientation and you can always work successfully in a team.
