What you can expect
Within our Domestic Deliveries Unit, we are responsible for the handling of national and international shipments of packed and bulk goods. We deliver the products in compliance with the requested delivery date and at optimal cost conditions.
You are responsible for the planning and creation of shipment orders (together with transport documents) considering legal, BASF-internal, safety-relevant and packaging regulations.
You fulfill the customer-specific Service-Levels and all other necessary qualitative requirements and will ensure timely communication of disruptions to the internal customer and agree on corrective actions.
You manage ad-hoc shipments not covered by existing agreements including rate negotiations.
In this context, you will evaluate and monitor the service providers’ performance in terms of quality and reliability.
You are responsible for the controlling of the cost in case of special arrangements, examining the additional costs incurred and entering these into SAP.
What we expect
University's Degree in a relevant area
experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or other comparable area is an advantage
excellent interpersonal, team working and organizational skills
computer literacy with good ability to work with MS Office packages and ideally knowledge of SAP
fluent English language skills, any other European language is a plus
