What you can expect
Take your next step with us into a digitally influenced world of work. For our sales tax unit Indirect Tax we are looking for several employees for the expansion of our team who enjoy working on the technical implementation of complex sales tax topics.
You will develop and implement VAT and Intrastat-specific processes in compliance with the given framework conditions and develop them further in consideration of established best practice solutions.
You will advise and support the Indirect Tax Team and other BASF units in processing sales tax inquiries in day-to-day business and prepare evaluations for decision-making on sales tax-related issues.
You will define, test and implement sales tax requirements within the framework of new processes, projects and further developments.
Furthermore, you will train internal employees in the use of tools and processes relevant to sales tax and continuously develop the corresponding training content.
In this interface role, you will be in direct contact with sales tax experts, experts from the adjacent finance departments of BASF group companies, IT, external consultants and tax authorities.
What we expect
You have successfully completed your studies in Economics, Business Administration, Informatics or a comparable apprenticeship ideally with focus on taxes.
You already have gained relevant professional experience in the area of financial accounting and VAT. At best, you also have experience in dealing with Intrastat reporting.
In addition to your good understanding of automated processes and MS Excel, you have practical experience with SAP R/3, in particular the FI, SD or MM modules.
Your innovative way of thinking and your high degree of initiative as well as your good way of making decisions you will always turn into solution-oriented actions.
Your excellent communication skills in German or English can be brought to bear in our intercultural teams.
