What you can expect
As a Product Safety Senior Specialist you are part of our team in the unit product safety services for EMEA, which ensures, that sales & marketing of our chemical products comply with BASF requirements within South-West Europe.
Your expertise is on demand: As an SAP-Expert you release the SDS of products sold in South-West Europe, ensure compliance with national requirements and manage their distribution.
Maintaining and managing master data of the Poison Center Notification (PCN) for agricultural products as well as notifying non dangerous product compositions on request, also belongs to your work.
For all questions in the area of product safety for South-West Europe you are the contact person. Therefore, you monitor our mailbox and answer incoming phone calls.
Furthermore, you register customer requests in the Product Safety Customer Request Management Tool.
As part of the emergency response team, you prepare professional training material and organize related training.
What we expect
degree in Chemistry or several years of professional experience within the chemistry area as well as profound knowledge in the field of SDS and CLP
fluent communication skills in French and English, German skills are a plus
profound user knowledge in MS Office and (SAP) databases
distinctive communication skills, ability to work in a team as well as a strong customer-orientation
strong analytical skills as well as a very good organizational ability and independent working methods
willingness to travel
