What you can expect

As a Product Safety Senior Specialist you are part of our team in the unit product safety services for EMEA, which ensures, that sales & marketing of our chemical products comply with BASF requirements within South-West Europe.

• Your expertise is on demand: As an SAP-Expert you release the SDS of products sold in South-West Europe, ensure compliance with national requirements and manage their distribution.

• Maintaining and managing master data of the Poison Center Notification (PCN) for agricultural products as well as notifying non dangerous product compositions on request, also belongs to your work.

• For all questions in the area of product safety for South-West Europe you are the contact person. Therefore, you monitor our mailbox and answer incoming phone calls.

• Furthermore, you register customer requests in the Product Safety Customer Request Management Tool.

• As part of the emergency response team, you prepare professional training material and organize related training.

What we expect

• degree in Chemistry or several years of professional experience within the chemistry area as well as profound knowledge in the field of SDS and CLP

• fluent communication skills in French and English, German skills are a plus

• profound user knowledge in MS Office and (SAP) databases

• distinctive communication skills, ability to work in a team as well as a strong customer-orientation

• strong analytical skills as well as a very good organizational ability and independent working methods

• willingness to travel
