Our Legal, Taxes, Insurance & Intellectual Property Unit advises on legal questions, taxes, insurance and intellectual property. We assist our colleagues and play an active role as a partner, drawing on our expertise in these areas. With our global team, we ensure that we are always close to the customer when we advise them.
What you can expect
Within the Legal Contracting Center Berlin, you become part of our global legal and IP department.
You are responsible for the review, processing, negotiation and commenting of confidentiality agreements and other standard contract types.
In particular, you handle international sales and purchasing transactions based on playbooks and defined negotiation limits, as well as in cooperation with the legal and IP department.
You take over the input and maintenance of contract parameters as well as contracts and contract changes in the existing Contract Lifecycle Tool.
Furthermore, you ensure contract-related checking and approval processes as well as contract management of existing contracts plus the creation and maintenance of standard contract models, clauses and playbooks.
In the area of intellectual property law, you support IP law issues and processes.
Finally, your work may comprise compliance audits and legal investigations, as well as due diligence reviews of contracts for M&A activities.
What we expect
successfully completed university studies in Law or comparable studies with reference to Business Law
at least one year of professional experience in legal and commercial contract management
experience in drafting of contracts with various business law emphases and the legal review of contracts
knowledge in working with standard IT applications, especially with MS Office
fluent in English and German
ability to communicate effectively and in line with the target audience
very good analytical skills, goal-oriented approach and customer orientation
