Regional Sales Manager- (1904313)

Where the Chemistry Happens

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will direct and implement the Customer Strategy of the APN RBU in Sothern Alberta, with the coordinated support of the organization. You will integrate the Grower Strategy and Retail Strategy into the Regional Team Strategy that drives customer-focused results that are measured on a number of customer, product, and tactical metrics. The Sales Team will plan and execute the Product on Ground (POG) business on an annual basis with a focus on Key Growers and Retail. The Team will drive these results with each customer by planning and executing the POG business while also delivering positive customer satisfaction. You will be accountable for the achievement of POG sales targets, implementation of marketing tactics with customers, as well as the performance and development of all assigned staff.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your academic background in business or agriculture (preferably) coupled with field sales experience, we will rely on you to develop, train, and lead a team of Territory Sales Managers who support current products and introduce new technologies and solutions to new and existing grower and retail customers; you will actively support innovation and technical training for the Sales Team at the field level

  • You will track key metrics to achieve Sales Customer Campaign goals while driving improvement in sales excellence with customers using CRM tools

  • As a seasoned people leader who fosters a positive team environment that aligns with business and corporate initiatives you will cascade goals/objectives, identify development plans, conduct performance reviews with staff, and advocate a coaching culture within the Sales Team

  • You will leverage leadership, people development and superior customer service skills to expand the company’s market share in Canada

  • As a role model, you will demonstrate your experience selling to growers and retails in Western Canada and your ability to initiate, develop, and maintain effective internal and external relationships

  • You will gather and communicate market intelligence and competitive activities to appropriate staff to maximize opportunities and pre-empt threats to brand performance
