Amnicola Maintenance Manager – Chattanooga, TN
Where the Chemistry Happens…
We are seeking a professional like you to provide professional maintenance engineering and maintenance management support for our Chattanooga Site latex operations primarily in the area of site maintenance, equipment reliability, predictive and preventive maintenance, capital projects, contracts for engineering and construction services, plant energy and efficiency improvements, and maintenance management of safe operations.
The role also requires the integration of the site procedures and Technical Standards with BASF Corporate requirements. In-depth knowledge of engineering preferably mechanical acquired through educational achievements and industrial experience is essential. A sound knowledge of pertinent local, state, and federal codes and regulations is required.
You should be a competent, responsive, mature professional engineer with good judgment and broad knowledge of many disciplines. The incumbent should also be a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to work in a team-based environment. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance technique is also required. Extensive and detailed knowledge and use of multiple SAP tasks and reporting is required.
Formula for Success
BS Degree in a technical area required. BS Degree in Engineering, Science (or related field) is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in multiple manufacturing areas, and functional responsibilities
Homogeneous project with cross functional coordination with Production/Corporate/Global EHS/Quality requirements to meet BASF/ISO/OSHA/RCMS and Mechanical Integrity standards
Ensure compliance to standards, enforcement of standards – compliance (OSHA PSM); sensitive issues (Safety importance – PSM/RMP)
Production, EHS, Plant Equipment Maintenance knowledge – BASF technical standards
Diversity of tasks, problems – equipment operation/maintenance; compliance regulations (ISO, OSHA/RCMS)
Manager of Maintenance Department – will have authority to make decisions in functional area
