What you can expect
Our Civil Engineering unit is responsible both for planning new plants and equipment as well as for maintaining the existing ones.
In this position, you will be responsible for independent, holistic and multidisciplinary planning, monitoring and management of construction projects for buildings as well as for maintenance activities.
From determining the fundamentals through to execution planning and commissioning partner companies, you will work on and monitor the completion process through to commissioning.
In cooperation with the Purchasing team, you will participate in preparing all RFPs and in assigning orders to external construction companies.
You will coordinate and manage all external companies and subcontractors for engineering, aboveground and underground construction and will assume responsibility for heading teams depending on the project.
You will function as the central point of contact for our internal principals and will advise them on all construction-related matters.
In addition, you will prepare and update construction time, maintenance and service plans as well as various kinds of documentation.
What we expect
After earning a master´s degree in civil engineering, you have gained several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
You have solid experience with planning and project management, overseeing and executing construction projects in the area of new construction and in maintenance of industrial buildings.
Ideally, you have initial experience with HVAC and plumbing equipment.
You are a proficient user of the MS Office applications.
On a personal level, you are impressive for your great awareness of customer needs and your mindset and actions, which are geared toward cost effectiveness. Planning skills, awareness of quality and a sense of responsibility are among your strengths.
