Wherethe Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for managing the payroll and vacation process for hourly employees at the Elyria site in a timely and accurate fashion. You will also be responsible for SAP reporting and other clerical functions and projects to enhance the site and execute plans associated with the responsibilities below to support Elyria site goals.
Leveraging yourbachelor’s degreeand your payroll processing experience in a manufacturing environment, youwill be responsible for accurate and timely processing of payrolltransactions within SAP while maintaining a confidential work environment.Additionally, you will optimizeprocesses for continuous improvement for accurate and efficient recordingand processing.
Your ability to workwith all levels within the organization will serve you well as you workwith HR and Management to understand bargaining unit contractinterpretation about payroll transactions and correspond with employees onpayroll questions.
Your solid organizational skills will aid you in maintainingvacation schedules and remaining eligibility for each employee, as well asin the preparation and distribution of Vacation Packages annually to unionemployees for each new calendar year.
Demonstrating yourstrong verbal communication skills, you will serve as the supervisor forSAP data entry personnel and ensure accurate SAP productionreporting.You will also provideguidance on transactions to use and manage timely process order closure.
Your proficiency in SAP and Success Factors will be essential asyou maintain article Master Data in SAP, submit new articles for costing,extend articles to various plant codes and troubleshoot issues related tomaterial movements in SAP.You willalso provide reports or historical information to management includingovertime analysis, punch in punch out reports and others as required,enter requisitions, process SAP work cycles, and other clerical duties asrequired.
Using your advancedMicrosoft Office skills (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), youwill create PowerPoint presentations, procedures, and spreadsheets asneeded for various meetings and other site needs.You will also create EOM process ordervariance reports and identify issues.
Working independentlywith minimal direction and a keen attention to detail, you will managecycle schedule and complete plant cycle counts. You will also maintainsite inventory accurately and monitor cycle count adjustments andinventory movements.
Demonstrating yourrelevant experience working in a manufacturing environment and yourflexibility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadlinedriven environment, you will support and assist with various departmentaland plant activities.
As a proactiveself-starter, you will take a lead role in handling P Card management atthe site, including monitoring of the usage of P cards.
