We are seeking a professional like you who will support the control systems (DCS, PLC, SPLC, etc). You maintain Control Systems that meet Productions’ requirements, perform as necessary to achieve functional and safety obligations, and maximize system capabilities. This includes the leadership of the system migration and lifecycle process, maintenance recommendation and oversight of installed base equipment, membership on key related teams, coordination of concepts with Operations personnel.

- Leveraging your educational background in Computer, Chemical or Electrical Engineering and your extensive experience in chemical/petrochemical plant automation, and Industrial Control Systems support, you will provide expertise as a resource in Advanced Process Control and a resource for area Model Predictive Control systems.
· Using your strong knowledge and experience with several types of DCS and PLC equipment maintenance and software support experience you will develop diagnosis concept and periodic health check of installed base control systems in coordination with Plant Operations Team.
With your experience you will support capital and maintenance projects in the area that requires interface to control systems throughout; conception, design, implementation and commissioning and Develop and ensure maintenance of a database of key advanced process control installations in the area and help ensure its functionality and sustainability.
You will organize and coordinate technology and best practice sharing exchanges between control systems collogues, Production personnel and vendors to allow the performance of the control systems and their associated activities to perform to their highest level.
Using your partnership abilities, you will maintain a collaborative relationship with the Operations Team, Global Procurement Verbund Team and participate on Peer Working Groups and Work with Control Systems Engineers and Technicians to increase standardization of process control systems across site and in immediate area.
Utilizing your experience, you will track Total Cost of Ownership for control systems. This includes, monitoring and diagnosing failures, assisting in initial hardware installations, maintenance contract tracking and communication, optimizing software version upgrades and vendor liaison issues such as quick fixes for system problems and virus protection.
This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
