Learning and Development/Lean Coordinator –Engineering/Maintenance/Construction-Freeport (1803195)
Where the Chemistry Happens
- We are looking for a candidate like you to design, develop, administer, and support learning and development strategies, technologies, and processes that positively impact employee development and engagement. This role collaborates with members of Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Organizational Development to provide a single point of contact for Freeport TSS Engineering and Maintenance employees. You must have the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, and effectively present ideas to individuals and groups.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational background in Learning and Development, as well as your extensive professional experience within a chemical/petrochemical and/or manufacturing environment, identify improvement opportunities and propose and implement sustainable solutions for L/D and Lean work processes and programs.
Employ Instructional System Design and Development principles when developing standard training processes for any number of topics.
Collaborate with Construction, Maintenance, Turnaround Management, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent Learning and Development programs and processes.
Evaluate training processes and programs to determine effectiveness of training and trainers.
Ensure the accuracy and availability of all training materials (paper, electronic, and other media)
Balance computer based, classroom, and hands on training to maximize effectiveness
Support standard learning and development processes and assist with onboarding of new
Minimize costs by maintaining the learning schedules and coordinating learning for requisite qualification and certification
Coach and develop Engineering and Maintenance employees to establish a high-performance culture
Observe training, recognize opportunities, and lead/ drive enhancements for an improved learning experience
Develop continuous improvement work process/ culture in conjunction with FTN Continuous improvement team
Collaborate with TSS organization, business units and internal/external SMEs to provide the best solutions that meet customer needs
Actively promote L&D programs, processes, and standards at all levels of the company
Contribute to site, regional, and global initiatives focused on improving Engineering and Maintenance L/D and Lean practices.
