Maintenance Mechanical Engineer (1802660) – Freeport
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are searching for a professional like you that can effectively provide technical support to Root Cause Failure Analyses, troubleshoot problems, and monitor Preventative Maintenance/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs. In addition, we will look to you to promote a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN manufacturing tools. You will have ownership of resolving maintenance technical issues and supporting reliability and mechanical integrity efforts.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational background in Mechanical Engineering combined with your relevant work experience in a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment you will be responsible for plant maintenance activities.
Your solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and plant manufacturing processes will be a valued asset as you provide technical support to the Maintenance Superintendent, specialists, and craftsmen to resolve challenging equipment repair issues.
Leveraging your awareness of technical standards, procurement policies, and the project execution process, you will develop scopes of work, work packages, and obtain quotes as you serve as a discipline engineer for Management of Change expense projects.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will support capital projects by supplying your engineering expertise, provide input for the Maintenance budget, and participate in the “Bad Actor” program and implement action plans to improve reliability.
Your experience with manufacturing reporting systems such as SAP will be useful as you will review work order feedback forms for accuracy and completeness and provide recommended improvements to similar future work.
Applying your educational background in combination with your prior work experience, you will evaluate new technologies and alternative methods for equipment repair while seeking cost and delivery advantages.
