We are looking for a leader that is proactive and high energy professional like yourself, to foster an environment of continuous improvement and lead improvement projects of sufficient scope utilizing the Lean Six Sigma methodology that will have a significant positive impact to site performance. You will also provide coaching and support in the methodology and project management for the Green Belts, Yellow Belts, and Site Leadership. This position will also provide training, track projects, communicate progress, and drive sustainable solutions.
This is a flow through, development position which reports to the Site Director. The successful candidate will move to a technical position within the Greenville Site after an 18-30 month time frame.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering combined with your professional experience as a Process/Operations Engineer, you will identify and lead improvement efforts through all stages of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology.
Your strong analytical skills and project management experience will be a valued asset as you lead large, complex improvement projects focused on quality, cycle time and cost improvement through all the stages of the DMAIC methodology to completion and benefit realization.
As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your acquired knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology and your communication skills to train, coach and mentor managers and employees in the application of the Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology through the completion of Green Belt projects.
Your strong organization will be essential as you identify and prioritize top continuous improvement opportunities.
Assisting in the strategy deployment and Hoshin methodology at the plant, you will support the Site Operational Excellence strategy to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
