Within structures similar to those of a startup, we serve our customers in the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries in a dynamic market. We build the business in materials, system solutions, components and services in the 3D printing segment and work closely with the global research platforms and application technicians of BASF.
What you can expect
Join our Sales Europe team at our new start-up in Heidelberg to identify new potential customers and expand the network in the automotive industry who already use or plan to enter additive manufacturing.
For this reason, you will observe the market and develop as well as implement new customer solutions while using Salesforce as the leading sales steering and reporting tool.
Together with Product Managers, you will be responsible for the continuous collection and analysis of upstream requests for customer solutions, including prioritization of requests regarding new solution development projects.
You will assure a proper communication with the worldwide KAM organization regarding new applications and potential customers across BASF subsidiaries.
In cooperation with Sales and if applicable also legal department, you will negotiate contracts, prices, terms and conditions.
You will participate at trade shows as well as customer events and conduct trainings if applicable.
What we expect
You have a bachelor´s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering ideally with a focus on plastics.
Additionally, you already gained relevant work experience in the automotive industry and knowledge in project management.
You are able to use your skills in consulting as well as negotiation and your expertise in contract design.
You communicate confidentially with colleagues and our customers as well as partners in German and English.
Personally, you convince with your customer focus and communication while driving forward innovation and collaboration within the team.
