Product Marketing Specialist (1901878)– Houston, TX

Wherethe Chemistry Happens

As the Product Marketing Specialist in the Petrochemicals business unit, you will be responsible for capturing and reporting business KPI's, analyzing sales and market data, and documenting and executing critical pricing and related business activities. You will support the development of the assigned products through the implementation of new product launches, market intelligence and tactical marketing activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing support of product management activities and backing up the Product Manager. You will work effectively in cross-functional teams to ensure that any changes or issues related to the product line are overseen through completion. You will also work cooperatively with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Logistics, as well as corporate functions such as Customer Care to ensure optimal positioning and utilization of the assigned product(s) across all market segments.

Formula for Success

  • Your solid user skills with Microsoftoffice applications such as Excel and PowerPoint, along with yourexperience in SAP or similar enterprise software, will be essential as youcapture and report business KPIs.

  • Demonstrating your strong business and financialanalysis skills, you will generate monthlysales reports and analyze market/product activity.Additionally, you will use these skillsto monitor and report on key import/export statistics and analyze marketinfluences.

  • Working as a team player, you will assist,support, and act as back-up to the Product Manager.

  • Collaborating effectively, you will coordinatewith Sales to ensure all customer quotes are accurately entered andpricing files are maintained.

  • Your strong written and verbalcommunication and interpersonal skills will serve you well as you manage the Co-Product business, including inside salesof the product line

  • Leveraging your education inBusiness Administration or a similar business discipline combined withyour professional experience in marketing, sales, economics, customercare, supply chain or financial analysis, you will research and clear all price discrepancies and supportmonthly revenue reports.

  • Successfully engaging across thebusiness, you will serve as the primary business liaison with CustomerService.
