Customer Experience (CX) Systems Manager – Precious Metal Recycling (2101272) – Iselin, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

Precious metals are critical raw materials in manufacturing fresh catalysts. The two main sources of precious metals are mining and recycling. CCM/R offers refining or transformational services, taking precious metal from scrapped, end-of-life products (catalytic converters withdrawn from automobiles, spent catalyst beds used in chemical manufacturing) and converting this metal back to a standard, purity grade, such that it can then be traded and/or flow directly back into new production – contributing to the circular economy. We are seeking a professional like you who will be responsible and accountable for two global, digitalization efforts that support our recycling process: a data warehouse to pull together data across systems to derive business steering reports, as well as a transactional customer portal.

We are seeking a professional like you to be the responsible product owner of an interconnected reporting application and customer facing application. You will be directly responsible for scoping and guiding these two products to launch, following an agile and iterative improvement process considering both internal and external needs, and ensuring data flows are updated and maintained.

Preferred location is Iselin, NJ but a remote working option is a possiblity.

Formula for Success

  • Successfully engaging across the organization, you will work with the business stakeholders to define and enhance IT product visions and strategies for systems and tools that support an enhanced customer experience (e.g. customer portal, payment interface, salesforce, big data projects, etc.). You will also partner to create a cross-functional and collaborative development process for applications.

  • Your excellent interpersonal skills will be essential as you gather insights from stakeholders and available data - including Voice of Customer data, external market data, and existing data.

  • Employing your strong organizational skills, you will create metrics and goals around feature launches, measure success post-launch, and iterate.

  • Having a passion for designing customer and user-friendly solutions, you will design the scope of each application with end-to-end processes in mind, applying a focus on solutions that eliminate manual work and allow as much real-time information as possible to be available for customers.

  • Being a creative problem-solver with a passion for making complex things simple(r) across diverse teams, you will create specifications and testing plans to identify and mitigate potential project risks.

  • Applying an agile approach, you will respond to change quickly and communicate updates.

  • Being self-motivated and driven, you will be the first line of defense for system questions and needs, where possible, that can be serviced directly by you with your technical skills and knowledge of the applications.

  • Leveraging your IT project management experience, including experience managing external vendors with demonstrated wins (from design to implementation to upgrades), you will work directly with 3 rd party vendors on coding changes, as needed, and collaborate with internal and external vendors, as needed to meet deliverables.

  • Your strong verbal and written communication skills will serve you well as you communicate product priorities across the team by being transparent in your roadmap and prioritization.

  • Your solid customer focus will be essential as you continuously prioritize the needs of customers and internal stakeholders using evidence-based decision-making, reassessing as needed.

  • Relying on your previous knowledge of existing applications and/or desire to master the applications responsible for, including building some basic coding skills and creating user training materials, you will serve as an advocate for the product applications, internally and externally, seeking to understand end-to-end processes, maintaining a positive attitude even in the face of adversity, and doing what it takes to get the job done on time and budget.
