Financial Analyst (1803023) – Iselin, NJ
Where the Chemistry Happens
In this role you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting key financial and economic data for the global CCM Trading business. Job duties include monthly preparation, review, and analysis of actual results and forecasts, and comparisons to forecast, prior year, and operational plan. Additionally, you will prepare economic analysis relating to sales and fixed costs and will interact with business management to prepare and analyze the annual SPA (Strategic Path Analysis) and the Operational Plan. You will also be responsible to prepare monthly derivatives reporting requirements. You will be expected to identify opportunities for improving and optimizing current business processes and participate in special projects.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational background and professional experience in Finance or Accounting, you will prepare the global trading business’s monthly financial reporting package including: analysis and forecast for multiple global locations, with comparisons of actual results to prior year, annual operational plan, and monthly forecasts.
Your strong proficiency in financial analysis will be a valued asset as you draft monthly analyses of key business data such as: specific revenue, cash flow analysis, operating expense, balance sheet accounts, and detailed fixed costs.
In support of driving strategic decisions for the business, you will assemble weekly cash flow forecast analysis and advise management of the cash flow impact of various business decisions.
Successfully utilizing your ability to manage multiple tasks, you will also provide year end accounting support to the Finance team by preparing annual footnotes and providing necessary documentation to fulfill audit requirements, and participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Your proficiency in Excel and financial systems and databases will aid you in driving digitalization initiatives in business unit reporting and to use systems, including Tableau and SAP, to analyze and create revenue and operational expense reporting for business management.
