What you can expect
With its xarvio (TM) product portfolio the BASF Digital Farming GmbH enables farmers to improve and automate agriculture by using data such as smart sensors, advanced models and artificial intelligence.
You will shape our analytics and product portfolio, create insights as well as tools based on one of the world's largest and most comprehensive data base of agronomic data.
Moreover you will harmonize field and model data over a variety of sources in an agronomic context and interact with teams in various departments and countries.
You will design an architecture to automatize the data collection and analysis process of customer data to improve different processes of our leading and most complex xarvio product 'Healthy Fields'.
Last but not least you will develop and implement product verification and validation technologies and analyze the product with our commercial team using statistical techniques.
What we expect
University degree in data science, applied statistics, geo informatics or similar
Excellent programming skills in languages like python or R
Experience with GIS software and data analysis such as ArcGIS or QGIS
Good understanding of data visualization tools
Ability and interest to work in global and diverse teams
Analytical and strong presentation skills as well as fluent in English
