What you can expect
For our unit Global Ecotoxicology we are looking for a Terrestrial Ecotoxicologist. You will join a highly dedicated, international and passionate team and work on diverse aspects of Ecology and Regulatory Ecotoxicology.
You will create, communicate and implement regulatory science strategies and defend them at internal as well as external stakeholders.
According to the compliance, safety and financial requirements you will plan, conduct and timely deliver ecotoxicological data (laboratory and field studies) as well as regulatory activities (environmental risk assessments).
Your responsibility is to coordinate regional, national and global technical or scientific issues in the area of Ecotoxicology including all relevant project work and interaction.
You will develop and implement new ideas, concepts and approaches in order to guarantee the strategic and efficient use of external suppliers.
What we expect
degree in biology (zoology, ecotoxicology or ecology) or related field, preferably with PhD
experience in ecology, ecotoxicology or environmental science
experience in a specific area of ecotoxicology (terrestrial or risk assessment) is beneficial
professional experience and expertise in project management
knowledge in the field of data evaluation and interpretation
well acquainted with standard IT applications and relevant IT tools
excellent English language skills
