What you can expect
Our E&I Engineering unit works on modern, appropriate automation technology for our production facilities and investment projects so that our plants can concentrate on their core responsibilities. With our work, we design BASF's production processes in a sustainable and climate-friendly way.
You will plan the process control engineering at our large-scale chemical facilities in Europe on time and on budget.
In the process, you will develop concepts and function as the technical point of contact for our customers and external suppliers. In your role as a technical advisor, you will coordinate measures with the specific units involved and with external service providers.
By implementing innovative solutions, you will advance the process of digitization at BASF.
You will also select and procure items of equipment and manage suppliers in subject-specific terms.
You will have the opportunity to further develop and grow within the scope of project management.
What we expect
degree in electrical engineering or automation technology
several years of professional experience in process control engineering, control engineering or electrical engineering and highly familiar with project management and plant as well as equipment planning
development of creative solutions and identification of the needs of customers and partners
team-oriented work
fluent German and English skills and strong interest in contributing to sustainability
