What you can expect

From raw metal supply and scrap reclamation to financial risk management our unit Precious & Base Metal Services provides confidential, value enhancing solutions to our industrial clients and BASF business units seeking to optimize their precious and base metals portfolios. Become part of our team.

  • You will provide leadership, direction and management for the commercial, business development, marketing and business management activities associated with the battery recycling market.

  • To drive profitable growth, you will develop and implement strategies for industry positioning, customer management as well as pricing.

  • Furthermore, you will identify new business opportunities, market penetration probability and implementation and provide information for expansion as well as product and market development.

  • You will forecast sales and market potential, establish business objectives as well as action plans and coordinate market research studies.

  • Moreover, you will identify, lead and drive change management opportunities aimed at continuous improvement.

What we expect

  • bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business or marketing, MBA is highly desired

  • minimum of eight years of sales, marketing, business management and/or other relevant work experience

  • willingness to travel over 25% both domestically and globally

  • extremely strong analytical skills and proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop appropriate strategies

  • comfortable in dealing across cultural boundaries and fluent German as well as English language skills

  • superior communication, interpersonal and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to interact with key decision makers at all levels
