What you can expect

Our unit Construction Planning provides planning services for international new plant and major plant modification projects of the BASF Group, e.g. for production buildings, office/control room buildings and infrastructure facilities.

  • You are responsible for the planning of all construction trades for chemical plants, office, workshop and production buildings, structural engineering, civil engineering and master planning as well as TGA (technical building equipment).

  • In doing so, you develop planning solutions and you are also responsible for cost estimates, schedules, tenders, monitor quality and safety in the area of responsibility.

  • In addition, you advise our internal customers on all construction-related issues.

  • You also manage BASF's internal specialist departments, external engineering offices and global planning partners and are responsible for the implementation documents for conversions, extensions as well as new buildings.

What we expect

  • University's degree in civil engineering with several years of professional experience in steel and building construction planning

  • experience in independent planning of projects, ideally in industrial and plant construction

  • in-depth knowledge in the field of statics and implementation planning

  • experience with the BIM method and BIM tools such as Tekla, Revit, Navis Works, etc.

  • very good knowledge of German and English

  • negotiating skills, a strong ability to work in a team, as well as a solution-oriented approach and the will to develop yourself and others
