The Global Engineering Services Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.

What you can expect

Our Construction Management unit is responsible for the construction management of Large Capital Projects (LCP) in the Europe region.

  • You will lead electrical and instrumentation (E&I) assemblies in medium as well as large capital projects (LCP) at the Ludwighafen site and worldwide.

  • In addition, you will be involved in the further development of construction management processes in the E&I area and will be part of various cross-functional work teams at the Ludwigshafen site, in the European region and worldwide.

  • You will be responsible for the selection and management of E&I contractors and will ensure quality assurance and acceptance of installation services.

  • In addition, you will provide technical leadership to your team and manage external E&I Construction Management resources.

  • Last but not least, you will ensure that costs and deadlines are met while taking into account safety, health and environmental protection (SGU).

What we expect

  • knowledge in SHE management and ideally, several years of experience in the industry
