What you can expect

From the very beginning, you will advise and support BASF's production plants in our Intralogistic Solutions unit regarding technical issues in the field of weighing, filling and conveying technology.

  • You will be responsible for consulting, conception, planning and execution of plant modernization and optimization projects.

  • You will analyze weak points and develop optimization potential on intralogistics systems. In doing so, you attach importance to availability, maintenance efficiency and machine safety.

  • For more extensive modernizations or plant expansions, you will coordinate the investment process and be responsible for project management.

  • In addition, you will control the procurement of supplies as well as services and are responsible for quality control.

  • You will be also responsible for the coordination and servicing of existing plants, including the maintenance of documentation.

  • Furthermore, you will develop alternative solutions and conduct feasibility studies, thereby optimizing logistical processes.

  • Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (calibration law and GMP) is a matter of course for you.

What we expect

  • above-average degree in mechatronics, automation technology or mechanical engineering

  • ideally professional experience in project planning or optimization of machines and units in the field of technical logistics such as weighing, filling, packaging, conveying, and storage technology as well as their automation

  • experience in the management of intralogistics projects

  • very good communication skills in German and English

  • pleasure in working in a team to achieve best results together
