What you can expect
Being part of of the group Knowledge Architecture & Innovation you will drive innovation in R&D by exploring and developing new procedures based on the latest technologies and algorithms.
You will help building an architecture for our knowledge solutions in R&D, addressing the representation, enrichment and utilization of scientific knowledge.
You will work on the representation of scientific knowledge to integrate heterogeneous sources of R&D data and information in a knowledge graph.
You will evaluate and develop methods and tools for further enrichment of these graph models via predictions using graph embeddings, network relation learning, graph neural networks and similar algorithms.
You will apply the new methods and tools in innovative projects to find solutions for challenging problems in R&D.
You will be part of a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team of experts and work in close collaboration with the R&D community.
What we expect
You have earned a degree in computer science oder mathematics.
You possess expert knowledge in graph algorithms and graph theory in general.
You also have sound experience in vectorization and embedding methods as well as probabilistic graphical models.
Ideally, you have gained experience in information retrievel and construction of scientific knowledge partners and are well acquainted with the design of complex solution architectures.
Furthermore, you have sound programming skills in Python and/or Java to use PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spacy, Neo4J, MongoDB and others to create prototypes.
You have excellent organizational and analytical skills and gained experience in agile projects.
