What you can expect

Within our research area Process Research and Chemical Engineering you will be responsible for research and development work in the field of electrochemical synthesis.

• You develop electrochemical processes and transfer them to production scale.

• You will also apply (electro)chemical analysis methods to various problems.

• Furthermore, your responsibilities include the evaluation of the applied analytical methods as well as the documentation and presentation of your research results.

• An essential part of your work is the intensive cooperation with internal partners from research and development, marketing and production.

• In addition, you will also supervise international research cooperations.

What we expect

• above-average PhD in chemistry or a comparable field of study

• strong knowledge in electrochemistry and organic synthesis and preferably experience in the field of electrosynthesis

• ideally experience in data analysis (e.g. via Matlab, Python or R) and/or simulation of materials and/or processes

• very good communication skills in English

• creative and initiative team player with strong cooperation skills
