What you can expect
The unit Project Management Services provides expertise to BASF units in the context of capital expenditure projects within the scope of planning, scheduling, controlling as well as cost estimating and enables a broad view of projects and strategic issues in the environment of BASF capital expenditure.
In our unit you will act as a consultant for BASF group companies, joint venture and EPC contractors globally and take on tasks in external specialist committees.
You will be responsible for the testing and introduction of new processing techniques and the associated assurance of global acceptance of further developments.
You will also be responsible for project execution comments as "Expert" for comments and/or "Subject Matter Expert".
We are also currently supporting BASF major capital investment in China by delegating critical resources that will be embedded into the program of projects controls team.
In our capital project you will be responsible for planning & scheduling activities and will lead the definition, development, roll out and surveillance of planning & scheduling concepts.
You will provide technical and disciplinary guidance, support and assurance to the community of planning & scheduling engineers throughout the project teams.
Furthermore, you will provide aggregated schedule overview and report at program level to senior management.
What we expect
degree in engineering (M.Sc./Diploma)
professional experience, at a minimum of 15 years, in project management, planning & scheduling, project controls, management of changes, risk management
career exposure in the field of construction, production, plant engineering or maintenance
willingness to delegate to Shanghai and Zhanjiang CN
very good knowledge of the English language
