The Global Engineering Services Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.
What you can expect
Our units are involved in the planning of process control engineering work on automation technology and electrical engineering for investment projects within our various divisions.
At the Ludwigshafen site, you will plan large-scale chemical plants for Europe or other regions in the area of instrumentation and control engineering (I&C) and will lead a project team.
You will develop new concepts and will act as the point of contact for our internal customers and external suppliers over the entire term of the projects.
By implementing innovative solutions, you will advance the process of digitization at BASF.
You will provide advice on the field of I&C engineering and will coordinate tasks with all of the specific units and external service providers involved.
What we expect
degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, physics or control technology
several years of professional experience and extensive knowledge and skills relating to project management and engineering for chemical plants
ability to identify the interests and strengths of individual team members and assign appropriate responsibilities and challenging tasks
