The Global Engineering Services Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn - laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.
What you can expect
The Battery Materials Competency Center is driving strategic and innovative engineering measures for the Catalysts division in the Battery Materials industry for developments into worldwide production plants.
You will coordinate and contribute to Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation engineering related activities with internal as well as external working groups across all project phases from conception to execution.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for timely, functional and cost-effective execution of the project work.
You will interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to form an effective team and support the project execution strategy.
You will continuously identify potential for optimization and improvement and will be responsible for implementation, further development and emerging knowledge transfer.
You will identify resource requirements and basic cost data and promote both employee development and customer/supplier relations.
What we expect
Master or Diploma in engineering or process engineering
At least 5 years of experience as E&I engineer in large capital projects
Thorough understanding of engineering deliverables for large capital projects and multi-discipline projects
Strong communication skills in German as well as English and comfortable working in global environment
Ability to travel
