What you can expect
As soon as possible you will support trinamiX GmbH in a diversified job in the development of our miniaturized near-infrared spectroscopy solution.
You will develop specifications, design and assembly of optical as well as optomechanical systems in miniaturized spectroscopy and illumination technology.
With respect to robustness, miniaturization and scalability, you will optimize optical systems.
For above mentioned systems you plan experiments as well as test routines, perform and document them.
Furthermore, you will perform optical simulations of spectroscopy systems.
In addition, you will be responsible for technology scouting in the field of optics and spectroscopy.
What we expect
science or engineering degree with a focus on optics, photonics, or equivalent
experience in the design and layout of optical as well as optomechanical systems
profound knowledge with optics design software, for example Zemax or Oslo
knowledge of Matlab or Python
ideally experience with design in CAD, microstructure technology processes or electronics development
