BASF Administrative Facility Coordinator in Mississauga, Ontario

Where the Chemistry Happens…

This role will be responsible for general office support at the HQ and other activities as assigned. GB Canada administration support and travel support for senior managers.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • General office management activities will include but not be limited to ensuring a safe work environment for all those who visit and work at the site regularly, assisting site management on site security topics, managing calls not handled by an auto attendant, and certain Reception activities as needed

  • Corporate function support will include but not be limited to Records management coordination for the HQ, assisting senior leaders with their travel requirements. Providing administrative support to the GB Canada team and other functional and business units as required.

  • Event management activities will include but not be limited to hosting Webex / Microsoft team meetings for corporate events, event logistics and management of calendar invitations.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • College Diploma (2 to 3 years) in business or combination of equivalent education and experience

  • Solid knowledge of the business and functional units of BASF Canada as well as BASF’s organizational structure in North America considered a strong asset.

  • Effective team player with demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across functions, businesses, and external suppliers.

  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to present and influence the implementation of new ideas.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) interpersonal and organizational skills
