We are seeking a professional like you who will strive to achieve sustainable target performance from process and plant whilst ensuring full compliance with complex regulatory requirements.

Your unwavering commitment to workplace health and safety will be evident as you ensure that all activities within your area of responsibility are carried out in compliance with BASF regulations, the site Responsible Care Management System, and all relevant State and Federal regulations.
Leveraging your bachelor degree (in Electrical and Instrumentation (E/I) Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering), significant E/I Maintenance experience and your experience in chemical manufacturing or process development, you will monitor and analyze plant and process performance, asset effectiveness, and quality data to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions and improvement opportunities.
Your solid problem-solving skills will aid you in providing technical support and direction to the Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance Coordinators, and Craft Technicians in the resolution of plant maintenance problems.
Your knowledge of the chemical industry and OSHA safety, health, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards (including PSM – Process Safety Management) will be essential as you coordinate, support, and implement OSHA and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements within your area of responsibility.
Using your strong computer skills, you will utilize SAP to compose quality Work Notifications, manage Key Process Indicators (KPIs), and submit reports as required.
Relying on your robust technical knowledge, you will help optimize the maintenance work processes.
Multi-tasking effectively on a regular basis, you will provide support for contractor oversight, management of plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and start up.
Your strong organizational skills will serve you well as you create, review, and update maintenance documentation, and implement training for the maintenance team when technical changes are required.
Successfully engaging within the organization, you will liaise with other departments and functions as required to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and consistency of approach for manufacturing operations.
Your experience will be applied to help support and maintain instrumentation, electrical, and controls-related systems, including identifying needs, reviewing equipment and situations in the field, recommending and implementing operations and maintenance improvements
You will support and/or perform proper documentation of instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment records, drawings, check-sheets, PMs, etc., to meet regulatory and BASF requirements
