Logistics Administrator – 2101696 – Parma, ID

This position supports the supply chain flow of deliveries in order to meet the requirements of the business while ensuring optimal quality, quantity, and cost.

 Through established procedures and guidelines, prepare export documentation in accordance with customer, country, and financial requirements across all modes of transportation. This includes communicating with 3PL, customers, and external customers. Primarily shipping vegetable seeds but must be able to ship all commodities needed.

 Approve documentation and work with company broker, internal, and external customers for the import of vegetable seeds, notifying all parties needed of shipment information.

 Work with company carrier strategy and book domestic transportation needed for internal customers. Coordinate with each facility the pick-up and delivery with timely and accurate information.

 Coordinate the storage and retention of all department shipping records in accordance with the company Records Retention Policy.

 Review all freight bills for accuracy, code, and submit freight bills for payment. Reconcile freight statements to ensure timely payment to logistics vendors. Coordinate all freight claims under


 Participate in Operational Excellence and Corrective Action Preventative Action program.


 Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. Highly proficient in Excel and ERP system setting.

 Ability to understand and implement county, export, and financial regulations and business processes.

 Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focusing on regulations, history,

and government requirements.

 Proactive with experience managing multiple priorities, often under deadline and in a high stress environment.

 Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders.

 Understanding of government regulations (import or export), process management, process improvement, and data driven environment.

 Must be persuasive, influential, and flexible and have the ability to establish good rapport and trust

with stakeholders.

 Ability to drive results and demonstrate proactive and flexibility within supply chain.

Basic Qualifications:

 High School Diploma/GED

 Three to five years’ experience in inventory management, logistics/supply chain, imports, exports, transportation; preferably in seed, manufacturing, or agriculture business.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience with ERP systems preferred.

 Experience in seed, manufacturing, or agricultural business.
