Continuous Improvement Manager (2101880) – Seneca, SC

We are seeking a professional like you to serve as a Continuous Improvement Manager at the Seneca, SC site.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or related field experience combined with your Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing, you will identify and lead the appropriate continuous improvement methodology throughout the site through training, project support and motivating personnel directly and indirectly.
Successfully engaging across the organization, you will facilitate projects to train and execute value add initiatives across the organization; facilitate recognition, scoping, and commissioning of new projects among all affected stakeholders.
Your strong process and quality improvement experience will be critical as you manage and communicate process improvements that deliver measurable value; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual objectives.
Demonstrating your working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, you will set and communicate the strategy for achieving the site’s vision and values, together with the broad actions needed to implement it. You will also inspire a large and diverse workforce to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the site’s goals.
Your solid judgment in dealing with others and in dealing with technical issues will be essential as you manage transformational business processes and anticipate complex issues, challenges, and opportunities.
Your leadership will be critical in managing the Site Training Team, responsible for Employee Onboarding and supporting Job Progression activities throughout the site.
As a key member of the Site Leadership team in Seneca and a member of the Continuous Improvement Expert Team, your ability to identify the capabilities needed to evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities will be a valued asset to motivate others to develop their capabilities and fulfill their personal potential, as well as, build capabilities elsewhere in the organization through mentoring and other formal and informal methods.
Relying on your demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, you will be asked to lead behavioral change throughout the business to developed continuous improvement culture to include business units, support functions, training, and motivation of team members.
