National Sales Manager (US), Commercial & Industrial Flooring (1903919) – Remote
Where the Chemistry Happens
In your role as National Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage, coach, mentor and develop Territory Sales Managers (TSM) and Manufacturer Representatives (MR) for Commercial & Industrial Flooring profitable growth, maximization of sales penetration in key markets and expansion of the Master Contractor program. You will provide plans and direction for improving profitability and revenue of the Commercial & Industrial Flooring sector and lead your Team to achieve sales targets by providing solutions within the C&I Flooring portfolio that meet and exceed the Client’s needs and expectations.
You will ensure that company initiatives, policies and procedures are implemented and communicated effectively to all direct reports.
Formula for Success
Utilizing your significant leadership and team building skills, you will coach, train, manage and direct the field sales organization within an assigned geographical area to insure customer and client satisfaction, increase sales volume, maximize profitability, improve market penetration and control expenses.
Leveraging your educational and professional background in a Sales capacity, you will develop sales strategies and programs in-line with the Commercial & Industrial Flooring N-A strategy to achieve sales objectives.
You will be fully engaged in the evaluation, development, launch and adoption of C&I Flooring business improvement initiatives, as an active member of the Industrial Management Team.
Your executive selling expertise and strong customer focus will be evident in your relationship development with Strategic Customers allowing to maximize flooring opportunities and discretionary business.
Acting with entrepreneurial drive and promoting sustainable solutions, you will develop proposed sales volume and selling expense budgets and forecast for the region and ensures that volume and expense control objectives are met to ensure the profitable growth of the Commercial & Industrial Flooring sector.
You will provide the Business Manager-Industrial with qualified market intelligence, voice of customer and competitive market information for the C&I Flooring business.
Your excellent presentation and communication skills will be essential as you develop, implement and monitor a written field training plan for each individual tailored to specific needs and development objectives to establish a viable sales performance and development program.
Using your robust organizational skills, you will ensure national (US) sales pipeline health, evaluate trends and proactively identify and address any gaps through training, coaching and sales growth initiatives.
You will utilize your strong analytical skills for national demand planning/forecasting by providing regular insight to Supply Chain on impact projects to maximize supply reliability while keeping obsolescence to a minimum.
Your strong interpersonal skills will allow you to facilitate any quality concerns and complaint with our Customers by steering the investigation and resolution.
