Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to provide business and administrative support for the North American Dispersions, Resins and Additives Business, reporting to the Vice President, Business Management Resins & Additives.
You will be tasked with the development of strategic agendas and associated presentations (both local and global). Additionally, you will support the analyst work of the Product Management team. Incumbent will also manage the daily office functions for the Vice President, Business Management Resins & Additives team to ensure operational efficiency and will maintain confidential files, compile reports, arrange appointments and reservations, schedule conference rooms for meetings and handle project work as assigned.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your Microsoft Office, SAP and professional experience in an office management role, you will effectively manage projects as assigned by Vice President and Manager, Product Manager including:
Coordinate submittals and prep for global team (GAT, GRT, etc)
Support ongoing analysis of margin and cost development for key products
Monitor perfect order index trends to increase delivery reliability and end of month invoice accuracy
Interface with other BASF business units to share and implement pricing best practices.
Utilizing your excellent planning and organization skills, you will schedules appointments and maintain calendars; schedules, coordinate and facilitate meetings (including trade shows), events and travel arrangements.
Supports users of SAP and utilizes the system for ordering purposes as appropriate
Maintains departmental files both routine and/or of a confidential nature
Monitors, reconciles, and assists with fiscal administration for the unit, including but not limited to budgets, travel and purchasing
