Site Services Manager – Southfield, MI

We are seeking a professional to provide oversight and safe management for our Southfield campus including four buildings of lab/R&D and office space. In addition to managing up to 10 direct reports, you’ll also handle modifications and expansions, facility utilities and related infrastructure, operations, security, office, maintenance/engineering, shipping, and receiving. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations in relation to building property/facilities and office staff. You will be the primary point of contact for facility requests, property management, and maintenance, and will work cross functionally on facility matters and appropriate solutions.

Skills you have:

  • Leveraging your degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a similar discipline and several years direct expertise, you will direct improvement of site’s facilities, energy management, security, maintenance/engineering, shipping/receiving and key contracted groups/companies.

  • Using your knowledge of SAP for procurement, capital projects, and preventative maintenance, as well as general mechanical aptitude, you will ensure compliance with the site mechanical integrity program, preventative maintenance schedules, and ten-year capital plan cycles and meet all appropriate codes and standards.

  • Manage maintenance, security, shipping/receiving, infrastructure and recycling, ensuring that all regulatory/compliance requirements for the site are met. Develop, analyze and interpret financial information will be critical as you develop and exercise financial planning and control for the operations by generating annual plans, controlling spending, maximizing overall productivity, and monitoring.

  • Using your prior experience managing/negotiating with vendors, office builds/construction, project management, and site safety, you will manage all space planning requirements to include upgrades to site infrastructure and office tools/systems.

  • Your knowledge of Environmental, Health, Safety, DOT, and ISO 90001 regulatory requirements will be essential as you manage and support site EHS&S, Quality, and business requirements to include audits, regulatory requirements, programs, and reporting.Your effective verbal and written communication skills will serve you well as you communicate effectively and timely with Business Unit Management & Corporate functions and respond appropriately to emergencies or issues as they arise.
