Printing and Packaging (P&P) business within the North American Dispersions, Resins and Additives regional business unit (N-EDN) is responsible for supplying high quality raw materials for printing of food packaging, flexible packaging, corrugated board, paper or paperboard, labels, magazine or catalogs. We partner with our customers and value chain contacts to customize innovation to specific needs with performance, e.g. for compostable packaging solutions or production efficiency improvements.

We are seeking professionals like you to join our team to perform critical account management activities including preparation, deal-closing, and follow-up, requiring effective steering to ensure target achievement. We are relying on you to collaborate with technical service and marketing teams to understand customer and market needs and translate them into profitable business for BASF.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your educational and professional background in Sales or Application/Business Development, you will negotiate pricing, service offerings, and terms to execute contracts with customers to generate the maximum value for BASF.

  • Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will develop and implement strategic account plans that set annual objectives and budgets for accounts and effectively manage business relationships with key customers.

  • Your keen ability to negotiate and overcome obstacles/hurdles to recommend products based on the application need.

  • Successfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with technical service personnel to develop and commercialize new products
