What you can expect
At our Trostberg research and development site, experts engage in fundamental research and develop specific products, including in the field of construction chemicals. The Mineralogy research group is looking for a system engineer to advance digitization and the IT infrastructure in the lab.
You will be the contact person on site for all topics in the area of IT.
You will act as an intermediary between our internal business partners, project teams, internal IT units and external service providers.
In the process, you will analyze our business and process requirements and ensure that items such as contracts are entered into and implemented, but also that other things, such as network technologies and server systems, are put in place.
You will plan lab-specific IT development tasks together with the users and implement these at the labs.
What we expect
You have completed a formal vocational training program or a degree in computer science and have already amassed professional experience.
Alternatively, you have a degree in a natural science and have been able to amass experience in applied fields of IT.
Ideally, you have knowledge of the use and technical conceptualization of lab-related applications and infrastructure.
You are a creative and communicative person with a solution-oriented working style and look forward to working within an interdisciplinary team.
