Control Systems Engineer (1802919) – Wyandotte, MI
Where the Chemistry Happens
BASF is seeking a professional like you to lead projects and implement strategies to introduce and apply new concepts and technologies that will have a substantial long-term business impact, or to address and resolve a unique, time-sensitive issues that could pose a significant business risk. You will provide subject matter expertise in multiple areas (e.g., discipline, process, technology), and consult across the organization to advance business goals.
Formula for Success
Interfacing with a variety of on- and off-site departments, you will apply your strong technical skills to help troubleshoot problems and execute programming modifications to de-bottleneck equipment that improve plant performance and reliability.
Your educational background (in an Engineering/Information Technology discipline), as well as your previous experience in a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment, will be an asset as you will manage the control system programming process.
Leveraging your solid knowledge of chemical unit and material handling operations, will lead the life cycle strategy and planning efforts for site control systems.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will communicate all plant changes and modifications to key stakeholders as part of the Management of Change process.
