Where the Chemistry Happens…

Quality Assurance Tech (2102788)- Wyandotte, MI

We are seeking an individual like you to ensure we produced quality of Site-manufactured products. Your role will be to test this material and record the results in SAP. This is position is for a 12-hour swing shift role that will follow a manufacturing crew. Need someone with strong communication skills and can work independently.

Formula for Success

Needs an understanding for both the Environmental and Quality Policies and performing job responsibilities safely, you will follow documented work procedures and instructions, while keeping in mind the Environmental Aspects and their potential Impacts.

Ability to work well in a team environment will be exercised as you act as the voice of QA to the production operators on shift.

Strong leadership skills will serve you well as you oversee and support the QA activities in the lab.

Must have a working knowledge of statistical tools and continuous improvement techniques, you will identify improvement opportunities, including new test methods, elimination of tests, etc.

Needs to have a strong verbal and written communication skills, to communicate across shifts of what is done and what needs to be done.

Must be a self-starter that can work independently

Must have strong organizational skills

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

Basic qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

1 year of laboratory experience required

Experience using Microsoft Office programs required

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to partner with multiple levels within an organization

Ability to multitask

Detail oriented

Good communications skills

Experience with measuring standard QA/QC properties: chemical, physical, and mechanical testing

SAP experience is a plus
